On 28 September 2025, after 11:00 p.m. at Drzymała Street in Toruń, moments of horror took place. 1 of the men wanted to commit suicide. The sighting soldier of the WOT Training Center immediately reacted and saved his life.
Private Patrick is simply a soldier of the Training Centre of the Territorial defence Army, it is thanks to his fast reaction and the preservation of cold blood that saved the life of the man. Seeing the effort made to jump by a man from a balcony, the soldier instantly decided to get to the apartment, and then without losing a moment, he took advantage of the minute of hesitation of the attempted suicide and caught him preventing him from performing the jump. Thanks to the reaction of another seer, this passerby managed to drag a man back into the flat and then hand over uniformed services (police and paramedics).
– Getting ready for sleep, I first heard loud screams coming out of the advanced parts of the building. So I decided to check them out, and then I noticed a man who went to the another side of the balcony rails. I knew there wasn't much time so with the aid of his neighbour he managed to get to his flat and then utilizing the minute of his surprise to catch him preventing him from giving up the jump. I don't think I did any heroic deed – it was just a simple human behaviour – said the general. Patrick.
It is worth noting that this is another heroic action taken by WOT Training Center soldiers in fresh months. With acquired medical skills, soldiers can actually aid those who are injured in traffic accidents or support uniformed services in search of missing persons.
