Despite the modernisation of the Russian atomic arsenal and attempts to usage coercion and atomic blackmail, NATO is constantly strengthening its defence capabilities. The Alliance invests in the modernisation of strategical and tactical atomic forces and develops conventional military capabilities specified as F-35A aircraft that increase the level of deterrence.
