Portugal to scope 2% of GDP military spending by 2029

Portuguese authorities will increase spending on the armed forces to 2 percent of GDP earlier than planned, the country's Prime Minister Luis Montenegro announced on Thursday, specifying that the government had previously assumed that this level would not be reached until 2029.
