Portugal has bought the first AIM-9X Sidewinder

On November 9, the United States Naval Aviation Command (NAVAIR) reported that the Portuguese government had signed an intergovernmental LOA agreement to acquisition the first batch of Raytheon AIM-9X Sidewinder guided missiles for its own needs.
