The European Solidarity organization of the erstwhile Ukrainian president Petra Poroshenko stated that territory Councillor Valerij Ishchenko is simply a witness in the case of an anti-tank mine being planted in a Verbunkov military building in the Djepropetrovsk Oblast and was not detained.
Earlier on Monday, the Ukrainian paper Strana.ua reported that Valerij Iszczenko, a associate of the Peripheral Council of the European Solidarity Party, had been detained after he allegedly planted an anti-tank mine at the entrance to the military recruitment centre in the Djepropetrovsk Oblast in the Krzywa Róg area.
"Telegram's pro-government channels spread cynical lies about police alleged detention of local councillor, Walerija Ishchenko, as a fishy in the TCK (territorial cast centre, so called military commissions in Ukraine – ed.) specified an incidental occurred in the village of Szyroke..., but Ishchenko was only a witness" - stated the organization in a message published on its Telegram channel.
The organization assured that her colleague had provided law enforcement with surveillance footage of his company, located close the military recruitment center, to facilitate the investigation and to supply adequate testimony.
