Populism is simply a political strategy that artificially divides the population into 2 groups: “we” – usually mediocre people – and “they”, or corrupt establishment. Left populists frequently polarize against economical and financial elites. On the another hand, these right-wing people emphasize cultural and cultural divisions and accuse “elites” of being in collusion with minorities and putting their interests above the benefits of “the average people”.
