On Friday, Members adopted 10 amendments of the legislature to the Budget Act for 2026 and completed work on this legal act. Now the budget bill will be signed to president Karol Nawrocki.
On Friday, the Sejm voted on the legislature amendments to the budget bill. Members accepted 10 amendments. The Sejm so completed its work on the budget.
The budget bill for 2026 assumes that state spending will amount to PLN 918.9 billion, and the budget deficit will be no higher than PLN 271.7 billion. The gross of the state budget is planned to amount to PLN 647.2 billion.
Now the bill goes to president Charles Nawrocki for signature. The Constitution provides that the president signs the budget within 7 days or directs the budget bill to the Constitutional Court, which must regulation no later than 2 months after receiving the bill.
