Reform will not replace teacher

The crisis has respective layers. Paying, overbureaucracy, professional work and increasingly hard educational conditions are important. Demography's coming. In any places, the number of students falls, others deficiency specialists or candidates willing to take part-time jobs. 1 central prescription will not solve all these problems.
There is simply a request for greater freedom of directors, simpler reporting obligations and remuneration that allows good educators to be kept. We besides request to rebuild the authority of the teacher. The school cannot shift all work to it, taking distant tools to keep discipline and requirements.
The future of Polish children is at stake
Parents have the right to anticipate their children to meet in a schoolroom of prepared teachers in September, not a makeshift plan sewn out of substitutions. It's a basic government service funded from taxpayers' money.
The quality of the next generation is at stake for Poland. A country that cannot guarantee continuity in teaching mathematics, Polish language or professional subjects weakens its own economy and culture. A personnel alert cannot be clouded by a press conference. We must reconstruct professional stability, requirements and due respect.
