Polish Radio sent the National Broadcasting Council the last pre-trial call to pay late subscription instalments. In February of this year, KRRiT decided that subscription funds for Polish tv and Polish Radio would be transferred to a court deposit until the court officially confirms the liquidation of the companies.
Delays in transfers
Virtual Media.pl portal gained access to the letter that Paweł Majcher and Juliusz Kaszyński sent to the employees of Polish Radio. The authors start the letter, stating that they are obliged to explain to employees a number of issues related to the financial situation of the company.
The reason is the decision of the president of the KRRiT, who blocks the subscription money for the activities of Polish Radio. Despite the entry into the National Court registry and the refusal to make a judicial deposit, the funds inactive did not affect the company's accounts of over PLN 70 million Paweł Majcher and Julius Kaszyński write.
President's veto
It should be recalled that Andrzej Duda vetoed the budget bill, which provided for the transfer of PLN 3 billion to the public media. The ruling coalition found a solution and transferred funds from the budget reserve. In total, over PLN 2 billion should be allocated to TVP and Polish Radio accounts in 4 months. However, most of the money goes to TVP, which makes Polish Radio in a hard financial situation.
The procedures are inactive ongoing. That's why there's delays in paying your coworkers the fees, and the worker awards have been paid in half. – explained the authors of the letter.
Paweł Majcher and Juliusz Kaszyński guarantee that funds will be transferred to employees. As shortly as the subsidy granted by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage affects the company's account, we will immediately meet our commitments. We besides guarantee that your wage payments are not at hazard They're declaring it.
Andrzej Duda closed TVP and PAP with his veto, and Polish radio.
