Węglokoks reported the takeover of Huta Częstochowa, in bankruptcy, in November 2024. He is presently a tenant and has the right to first buy the plant in a tender, which is scheduled for 17 February. A fewer days ago, the plant, after more than a year's downtime, resumed production. The acquisition of Huta Częstochowa by Węglokoks is supported by the Ministry of Industry.
