"Thanks to the heroism of its citizens and soldiers and despite the immense losses Ukraine survived as an independent state; Russia, which did not scope the previously announced targets of invasion of the country, has long since suffered defeat" – the head of the Polish embassy in Kiev Piotr Łukasiewicz estimates on the 3rd anniversary of the full-scale war.
