In the ranking of countries with the largest nominal GDP, Poland leapt over Switzerland and will shortly be promoted to a group of 20 economies worth a minimum of $1 trillion. From Germany - the first time in past – we are little than 5 lengths apart. It's an incredible feat. In 1990, after the fall of the Polish People's Republic, the Polish economy was 4.3 times smaller than the Swiss economy and 25 times smaller than the German economy.
