In consequence to the decision to leave the WHO by the US, the press conference was convened by representatives of the Confederation of WiN – Deputy Marshal of the Polish Parliament Krzysztof Bosak and associate of the Polish Parliament Grzegorz Płaczek. During it, they commented on the subject of Polish membership of the WHO.
– This fast quality of operation of president Trump's fresh administration is simply a sign that you can. You can do things that politicians in Poland cannot imagine," said Marshal Bosak, referring to the withdrawal of the United States from the WHO by the fresh president.
At the same time, Marshal Bosak recalled that erstwhile he applied for the Polish presidency in 2020, he personally proposed to suspend backing for the WHO.
According to Krzysztof Bosak, WHO as an organization is steeped in lobbying and its pandemic recommendations were either incorrect or chaotic.
– The erstwhile government, as at present all the time, introduced Poland to the regulation of sovereignty under the pretext of global management of pandemics. The Confederation is the only political environment in Poland that does not want this," said Krzysztof Bosak.
– Poland in the WHO acts as an experimental field. In fresh months, as Confederate Members, we have tried to establish basic information so that we can realize precisely what we are gaining from WHO membership," said Mr Płaczek.
According to Grzegorz Płacz, the answer that the Confederates received from the Ministry of wellness was completely laconic. As Mr Płaczek quotes, erstwhile he asked a typical of the Ministry of wellness at the plenary hall for concrete benefits from the WHO membership, he heard that "it was a shame to ask."
The representatives of the Confederation jointly stated that the WHO is an organization that makes the associate States pay immense money, and in the end is controlled by the money of private foundations and the pharmaceutical lobby. In their opinion, Poland should take the model from the US and leave the WHO as shortly as possible.
