Representation of Polish volleyball players second year in a row won the League of Nations. In the final of the tournament in China's Ningbo White-Reds defeated the United States 3:2, reversing the match after a 500-foot fight. This is the success of the team, which, under pressure, again showed the strength of Polish sport.
Final settled in tie-break
Polish volleyball players defended the League of Nations title. In the Sunday final in Ningbo, the squad led by Nikola Grbia won with the United States' 3–2 representation. The individual sets finished with 25:21, 23:25, 25:27, 25:23 and 15:10.
The White-Reds well started the meeting, but the Americans responded in 2 consecutive parties. Poland was against the wall. The 4th set became an effort at resilience, and the winning tie-break confirmed that this squad can keep its cool erstwhile the stakes are highest.
This is another triumph of Poles in these games. A year earlier Poland's representation won the final with Italy. The defence of the title is of peculiar importance, due to the fact that in sports it is easier to scope the top than to hold on to it despite the force of rivals and the expectations of fans.
Fornal with award for best player
Tomasz Fornal was chosen the most valuable player of the full competition. The host brought quality, energy and character to the sports team, which were besides seen in decisive passages of the final.

Polish brand built with work
This cup didn't fall from the sky. It is the consequence of many years of work by players, coaches, clubs and the full volleyball community. Poland has been 1 of the planet leaders for years, and representation has one more time proven that a white-red shirt means ambition based on the result.
The stakes for Poland exceed 1 trophy case. The large successes of representation build a community, give young people native heroes and strengthen the position of our athletics in the world. The state should take care of training, local clubs and children's access to the sports hall so that the current force does not prove to be a short episode.
Today, however, precedence belongs to the players. They defeated a strong rival, came out of a hard position and defended the title. Poland has a right to be arrogant of them.
