On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the second circular of the Polish presidential election besides ended outside Poland – in the United States. In 57 election circuits located in 23 states and the territory of Colombia, Poles surviving in and residing in the US gave their votes to 1 of 2 candidates. The election process continued until late evening locally, and the last polling stations closed at 6:00 a.m. Polish time.

According to the information provided by the Electoral Committee operating at consular posts, attendance among Poles in the USA was highly advanced – over 60 000 people registered to vote, which means an increase of more than 30% compared to the first circular of elections. This is the largest percent of Polish participation in the electoral process in many years.
The largest voting groups were noted in Chicago and New Yorkwhere the electoral letters were registered almost after 20 000 people. On the west coast of the United States, the most votes were cast in San Francisco and Los Angeles – over 1.4 1000 voters in each of these locations.
"Every voice counts and it is about the future of the homeland, it is obvious," said Anna Ostrzega, a computer scientist surviving in the US for 40 years, who actively took part in the vote.
The U.S. results will show up soon?
Although authoritative results from abroad will not be announced until after the end of the vote in Poland, Consul Mikołaj Rychlik assured that the work of the committee in the US is well organized. "Despite the large number of voters, the results from the U.S. commissions will be among the first to appear," said Rychlik.

The vote in the second circular of presidential elections took place not only in the US but besides in another Western hemisphere countries, specified as: Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
