The Prime Minister referred to Donald Trump's announcements on illegal migration
“I asked the head of the MFA to prepare our consulates in the United States to be ready for possible deportations of our citizens,” announced Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
– As I see it, the planet did not come to head despite large political emotions and justified and unwarranted fears and hopes of changing the American administration," said Donald Tusk before the Tuesday government meeting.
The Prime Minister besides referred to US president Donald Trump's announcements regarding the fight against illegal migration. He stressed that before the inauguration of Trump's presidency, he turned to abroad Minister Radosław Sikorski to take action in the United States.
– I asked the Minister of abroad Affairs to prepare our diplomatic missions, consulates in the USA, to be prepared to take action on Poles who are in the area with different position and level of legality," the Prime Minister informed.
