I do not realize why I am so amazed by the recording published by the Confederation, which comes from Robert Bąkiewicz's “Mountain of defence Borders” training. After all, this recording does not uncover fresh facts, which confirms what has long been obvious: it is not about any real defence of borders, nor about patriotic actions. It's all about a media show – a theatre designed to scare people with the imagination of “barbaric hordes” and tell them that only they, self-proclaimed defenders of the nation, are actual patriots.
Bąkiewicz is not a spontaneous activist. It's a political task that has been financially and politically supported by the Law and Justice for years. It is simply a product of Jarosław Kaczyński – precisely what he needed: aggressive, radical, ready to scare society and divide Poles.
That shouldn't be surprising.
After all, Kaczyński's full political strategy has always been based on fear.
He threatened the society with an "agreement" – until it turned out that the only real arrangement was the 1 created by the Law and Justice. Then came the time to scare LGBT, “a threat of sovereignty”, an alleged “attack on the Church.”
And always in this communicative the savior was he – Jarosław Poland Save.
Do these fears have anything to do with reality? Nope. But it doesn't matter. Fear is easy to instill – overthrowing lies takes time, knowledge, analysis. And most people don't have time for that, intellectual tools or they've been mentally subjected to this communicative a long time ago.
Kaczyński besides managed to convince Poles that nationalism is patriotism – and as a consequence he took distant the "right to Polishness" from anyone who has different views.
It's not just manipulation. It is simply a profoundly harmful ideology that destroys the national community and democratic values. It's the way to dictatorship, absolutism.
Since the PiS lost in the election, we have seen expanding brutality of the language and actions of this formation. This is desperation – but besides the announcement that they will do everything to regain power. And they won't back distant from anything.
Gangster in the office of president is simply a "good" start.
