A problem that may affect respective tens of thousands of "professionals" graduates this year and next year we described in Oneta in early February this year in the text: ‘Politicians pawned »trap« For students. The absurd situation will affect thousands of young people‘.
As we calculated at the time, children born in 2008 according to the education improvement introduced more than 11 years ago (it was in place during the first days of the PO-PSL rule) went to school a year earlier than earlier years. Six-year-olds were sent to the first classes. These began schooling in the 2014/2015 school year.
Initially, the children were to be six years in primary school, 3 years in junior advanced and subsequent years in advanced school. In the event of a competition, precisely another 3 years. If that were the case, the graduates of the SZZ would postgraduate at the age of 18.
But in 2017, Anna Zalewski, then Minister of Education in the Government of the United Right, made another improvement of education and since the 2017/2018 school year restored her education in the 8th grade simple school and abolished junior advanced school. Thus, six-year-old freshman in primary school were for a full of 8 consecutive years. The school finished in 2022 and had to choose another school. Those who chose a vocational school — after the Zalewska improvement — in the first degree, continued to survey there for 3 consecutive school years. This means that these young people will postgraduate from this school in June this year and in explanation they should finish their education (if they do not want to decide on alleged second-degree industries, which were to be created in accordance with the Zalewski Reform).
The problem is, it's going to happen before you're teenagers get older. This is simply a key issue, due to the fact that in Poland, in accordance with Article 70(1) of the Constitution, the work to survey covers all people just until the age of 18.
Against the graduates of the competition stands... constitution
That caused a immense problem. Proposed by erstwhile Minister Anna Zalewska in vocational schools of the second degree, there is virtually no school in Poland. Local governments don't open them due to the deficiency of appropriate staff and... the reluctance of young people. The majority of first-degree graduates say that they do not want to survey any further after receiving the title, but like to start a average job.
However, the current legal situation in which teenagers postgraduate from school at the age of 17 forced them to make a fictional enrollment in night school only to be on the list of students of these schools. Otherwise, a 17-year-old without school could be fined for his parent.
Both left and right politicians understood that their earlier decisions had led to specified a situation, but for years they did not do much to get out of the deadlock. It was not conditionally possible to reduce (for any 17-year-olds) the age to which the work to survey applies. Any specified law would be unconstitutional.
Parliament accepted the changes
But now it seems that a solution has been found.
"An crucial day for manufacture education," wrote associate of the Civic Coalition Marcin Józefciuk on Thursday 20 March. "The parliament voted the legislature amendments to the draft Labour marketplace and employment Services Act. With this bill, minors who postgraduate from the industry's first-degree school will not gotta look for a fictional school to carry out their learning work by the age of 18. The anticipation of completing a postgraduate practice with the employer is introduced as a form of fulfilling the work to study. The admission of an apprentice is subject to monthly backing from the Labour Fund. This responds to many demands from the educational community and employers."
