Western politicians like to visit discipline labs. Most likely, they believe that photographing with scientists raises common prestige and that voters are more likely to vote for individual modern.
Unfortunately, this does not happen in Poland. The question is whether it is stupid or wise of Polish politicians.
I spoke to the poller owner any time ago, who did investigation for all political parties in Poland. They did research, what voters think about abortion, about Sundays off, about partnerships, about in-vitro. Unfortunately, no politician thought that the poller would interview Poles, asking them this question:
-Are you in favour of policy makers to make investigation a priority?
Well, I don't have any hard evidence that 80% would say yes, but that's what my gut tells me.
Interestingly, the lower the level of education, the greater the percent of people who support science. Why? These somewhat better educated people may realize that it is highly hard to draw Polish discipline out of the collapse and it takes many years of hard work and quite a few money.
But I am convinced that if Donald Tusk in all second conviction mentioned the creation of Polish high-tech, he would have not 30% of support, but at least 50%.
I urge you to try!!!
