Comments that appeared on social media after the IPSOS poll for OKO.press and TOK FM was published, according to which as many as 40% of men under the age of 39 intend to vote for the Confederate, are mostly schematically incorrect and simply correspond to the popular culture of paternalistic treatment of the male part of society.
The results of the polls are very interesting mainly due to the fact that the another political parties are virtually just a background for Mentzen and Bosaka. The largest number of votes after the Confederacy was collected by the civilian Coalition – 21 percent, PiS – 11 percent, AgroUnion – which is besides interesting – 8 percent and after 7 percent.

But what comments are given in the social media bubble under the above results? The most stereotypical opinion is that if men want to vote for fascists, they are not worth anything at all and should not be afraid about them. The problem is that parties of the mainstream political dispute consistently do not care about the problems of men and the effects we see. Another alternatively common opinion brings the Confederacy's popularity to the “party of protest” scheme. There is most likely any fact in this, but nobody truly asks themselves why and why young men are protesting against.
Interest of men and political parties
More interesting analyses can be read by left-wing authors who pay attention to a paradox – men up to 39 years are ready for any reason to vote against their own class interest. And that's the truth, the consequences of neoliberal doctrine Confederations – if it were carried out – it would gotta bear today's folk class, working hard to support it, but besides to keep the state. For the most part, this class is made up of men in whose interest it is to strengthen the social safety strategy and labour law alternatively than to support the “business party”.
The left-wing proposal, therefore, not directly, is akin to the earlier “liberal-democratic”, men's deficiency of self-preservation instinct, and therefore, anyway, they are stupid.
Although class analysis is always worth examining social trends, it does not always give appropriate diagnosis and prescriptions. Telling young men that they are stupid and have no self-preservation instinct is the same thing they constantly hear in various social communications. Only more, stronger and – like the case of left-wing opinions – more erudite. Can specified an intelligent opinion convince the folk class that voting for the Confederacy is not the best idea? Definitely not.
Women in the foreground
There's something else to pay attention to. Politics in Poland has been becoming increasingly feminine for years, issues raised by different women's communities are always taken seriously, while sex inequalities that put men in a worse position are dealt with by niche researchers. If anyone asks about what inequality it's easy to replace, Men are little alive, they work harder, they start working before and then they end up working, and they are little educated, they have uphill in matters of divorce erstwhile it comes to kid care, they frequently commit suicides, they are subject to military work and they contribute more to the state budget. At the same time, in public discourse they are presented alternatively as a origin of problems.
It is apparent that the Confederacy has no good thought for a program aimed at men, but it has done 1 thing, opened itself to the male imaginarium of the folk class. Beer, mockery of politicians and political correctness, cult of independence, a hint of chauvinism, in the background, however, besides obscure nostalgia behind the conservative model of male-female relations. This last dream sometimes weighs more towards vulgarizing relationships with women, but it is frequently longing for household stability. As you can see, this reasonably sentimental Confederate program works. possibly due to the fact that no 1 in Polish politics wants to realize that the phenomenon of male emancipation is becoming clearer.
