For the last 5 months, nearly 100 people of the humanitarian contingent of the Polish Police had mined loads left by Russian troops in Ukraine. The head of the National safety Office Jacek Siewara and the Minister of Interior and Administration Mariusz Kamiński confirmed this last night. The mission was aimed at supporting Ukrainian services in demining and neutralising explosives left by Russian troops in areas inhabited by the civilian population. Polish uniforms were operating close Kiev. present they were decorated by president Andrzej Duda.
