Polish manufacture in the K2 programme. Challenges and Opportunities [ANALYSIS] (JAKUB)

The acquisition of K2 and K2PL tanks is simply a strengthening of defence capabilities, but besides a chance for a generational change, not only in the Armoured Forces, but besides in the Polish weapons industry. The Polish Armoured Group has extended plans to cooperate with the Korean partner Hyundai Rotem, covering first the production of K2PL tanks and then the joint improvement of completely fresh weapons systems. The nonsubjective is to establish a strategical partnership for the benefit of the armed forces of both countries, but besides for 3rd markets.
