Around 3:00 p.m., the Operations Command of the RSZ published a message on platform X, informing about the start of Polish and allied aviation operations.
"In accordance with the procedures in force, the Operational Commander of the RFA has activated all available forces and resources at his disposal, on-call hunting pairs have been picked up, and ground air defence and radio-location systems have reached a state of highest readiness" - reported
As explained, actions aimed at ensuring safety in regions bordering the hazardous area.
A fresh announcement came in just before 5:00 a.m. Command reported that "due to the simplification of the level of threat", aviation operations were completed and the forces and resources active returned to standard mode of operation.
It was besides noted that there was no breach of Polish airspace. The military continues to monitor the situation and remains on full alert.
Russia's night attack on Ukraine. Tens injured
The situation in the capital city of Ukraine was reported at night by the metre of Kiev Vitali Kliczko. A 62-year-old U.S. citizen died during Russia's attack in the Słomian region. A man was staying in his flat other the building where the medical services provided assistance to the injured.
Before 6:00 a.m., Klipczko reported that more than 40 people were injured as a consequence of the attack, of which more than 30 were hospitalized.
"The entrance to the residential building was destroyed in the Solomonian area. There are now paramedics working there, removing debris. Rescue services are inactive working on the ground and in respective another areas of the capital," he wrote.
