"The operation of Polish and allied aviation in our airspace has begun" - informed the Operational Command of the RFA in the communication. The decision is linked to a massive attack by Russians in Ukraine. "The ground air defence and radio-location systems have reached their highest readiness" - stressed.
According to the RSZ Operations Command in the Communication, "in connection with long-range aviation activity Russian Federation, causing impacts on the territory of Ukraine, the operation of Polish and allied aviation began in our airspace."

"In accordance with the procedures in force, the operational commander of the RFA has activated the forces and resources at his disposal. On-call hunting couples were picked up, and ground-based air defence and radio-location systems reached a state of highest readiness" - continued.

It goes on to say that "these actions are preventive in nature and are aimed at securing airspace and protecting citizens, especially in areas adjacent to susceptible areas".
"RSZ Operations Command monitors current situation and subordinate forces and resources stay ready to respond immediately" - stressed.
In turn, according to Reuter's agency, citing Flightradar24 service, in connection with "unplanned military actions" air space in the vicinity of Lublin and Rzeszów was closed.
