Polish carriers resumed the blockade of the border with Ukraine, reported Rafał Mekler, 1 of the leaders of the coalition of nationalists and Eurosceptics of the Confederate.
"We are already in Dorohusk (checkpoint on the border with Ukraine – ed.) Border stands" wrote Mekler on social network X and joined his entry a photograph of a blocked road leading to the checkpoint.
Polish carriers informed that they intend to block the border due to the influx of competitors from Ukraine, who displace Polish carriers from bilateral (Poland-EU) and intra-European traffic. The blockade is besides due to a long hold of Polish trucks on the Ukrainian side.
In 2024, the Polish-Ukrainian border was blocked respective times by Polish carriers and farmers.
Today, at 10 a.m., a protest of carriers on the UA border begins.
