Police: 65 people have drowned since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of 2026 65 people have died as a consequence of drowning, according to data from the Police Headquarters.

Police call for non-entering the water under the influence of alcohol and another drugs, not leaving children unattended and reacting in the event of dangerous behaviour.
