
Some politicians openly propose that the presidential elections in Poland may have been rigged. The unexpected triumph of Karol Nawrocki over the erstwhile favourite, Rafał Trzaskowski, raised much controversy – especially among the voters of the latter. respective tens of thousands of electoral protests were received by the ultimate Court, but more than 50,000 of them were left without further running. What do Poles think about this situation? Were the presidential elections unfair?
According to the United Surveys survey for “Virtual Poland”, most respondents do not think that the fresh presidential elections in Poland could have been falsified. 57.4% of respondents believe that they were honest and 36.3 percent believe that there may have been counterfeiting. 6.3% of respondents did not say that.
There is simply a clear correlation between the selected consequence and the political sympathy of the investigated. Electoral forgery is more likely to believe voters of the Civic Coalition, of which 64% believe that the consequence may have been manipulated. There are voters of Law and Justice at the other pole. Among them, 59% do not believe that the elections were rigged.
Do a small over 1/3 of Poles give emergence to recalculation of all votes? According to another survey for the "Republic" only 31.2% of respondents would like the vote counting process to be carried out again throughout the country. 29.8% of respondents believe that only those votes that were cast in the committees afraid by the electoral protests should be recalculated. 37.1 percent of respondents do not see the request to re-examine the number of votes cast in the presidential election.
