The Czech Republic officially ended the T-72 russian era in its army. The last usable T-72M1 tanks were donated to Ukraine at the turn of March and April 2025. This is the symbolic end of an era and at the same time a clear signal of the direction in which the Czech armed forces are heading – towards full compliance with NATO standards.
