Poland lies in central Europe and has a strategical seat on the continent. Borders with 7 countries, making it 1 of the more "social" countries of our region. With any neighbours we have a common, centuries-old past – sometimes difficult, sometimes full of cooperation, and sometimes very surprising.

Who is neighbouring Poland?

Poland has seven neighbors. Borders with them are land and with any besides water (as with Russia through the Vistula Basin). These are:

  1. Germany – from the west
  2. Czech Republic – from the southwest
  3. Slovakia – from the south
  4. Ukraine – from the southeast
  5. Belarus – from the east
  6. Lithuania – from the north east
  7. Russia ( Kaliningrad Oblast) – from the northwest

In the south of Poland, close the village Javorina (Slovakia), there is simply a very interesting place: Tristic of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This is 1 of the fewer places in Europe where 3 countries have borders at 1 point! This place is popular with tourists – you can stand there simultaneously in 3 countries and make different selfies
