The media is inactive talking about the turmoil in the ruling coalition. Recently, quite a few emotions have sparked Simon Holownia's words about "the coup." Donald Tusk made a clear mention to the situation. In the latest poll, Poles answered the question of who should be the leader of KO, Poland 2050, PSL and Left.
Poles indicated who should be Prime Minister
In the survey of the Pollster investigation Institute for "Super Express" the highest indications - 38 percent received the current head of government, Donald Tusk. The second place included Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski, who was indicated by 17 percent of respondents.
The 3rd ranked is Rafał Trzaskowski with a score of 13 percent. It was followed by leaders of the Polish People's organization and Poland 2050, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Szymon Hołownia, both with a consequence of 11%. After 2 percent of the votes were won by politicians of Nowa Lewica or Władysław Czarzasty and Krzysztof Gawkowski. The another candidates together achieved 6%.
Dr. Olgierd Annusewicz, a political scientist from the University of Warsaw, emphasized in an interview with the "Super Express" that the results of the poll indicate a clear situation: "Today there is no candidate another than Donald Tusk. Discussions about changing the head of government are the dream of a beheaded head for now".
Politologist besides pointed out the strong position of abroad Minister, Radosław Sikorski. According to Annusewicz, she sued it "to draw any backup emergency plan".
– In the event of falling support for Tusk, a deep reconstruction of the government is possible even before the start of the fresh election campaign," he said.
The survey was conducted by the CAWI method (web survey) on 25-28 July on a typical group of 1047 adult Poles.
Sikorski grows stronger
As we wrote on Temat.pl, in another poll Poles assessed Radosław Sikorski's work as abroad Minister. The results show that a full of 52.1 percent of respondents are well, very well or aiming at his work in the Ministry of abroad Affairs.
A week ago, as part of a government reconstruction, Sikorski besides became Deputy Prime Minister. This raised speculation that he could become Prime Minister and Vice-President of the civilian Coalition in the future.
– First of all, it is simply a politician who has not yet been Prime Minister. Secondly, he surely has a certain personality.
