Respondents of the IBRiS survey commissioned by "Rzeczpospolita" were asked whether Poland should change currency from gold to euro in the next 10 years. More than half of the respondents are among the declared opponents of this idea.

Over 62% of Poles it does not want to quit the current currency, including as much as 44 percent chose the option "decidingly not". Supporters for the adoption of the single European currency were 28.5% asked, with 10.5 percent powerfully supporting them.

The IBRiS besides analysed the voices of voters of individual political options. The most Eurosceptic group of respondents are voters opposition lots (PiS, Confederation, Together, Confederation of the Polish Crown). Interestingly, they have the most extremist views on this issue - as much as 66% do not want currency changes in the country. Another 21 percent are so "rather" opposed. According to the "Rzeczpospolita" analysis, Poland's entry into the euro area in the next decade is not possible, for economical reasons specified as the deficiency of compliance with fiscal stableness criteria, the criterion of exchange rate or price stableness and the convergence of interest rates.
