The event occurred on the night of 19-20 August in a corn field close Osina in the territory of Łukaszów in Lublin. An unidentified object fell to the ground and exploded. Further information on the event appears in the media.

Let us remind you that on Wednesday morning, as well as Marcin Józwik from the police department in Łukow, officials found burnt elements of various sizes scattered within a radius of respective twelve meters. In an interview with TVN24 station he added that they were "burnt metallic and plastic remains".
Photos of fragments of the object that exploded in the field in Osinach began to appear online. According to unofficial information, "Rzeczpospolita" could have been an Iranian Shahed-131 or 136-type drone – utilized by the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.
Kosiniak-Kamish with 3 scenarios
As we informed on Temat.pl, the deputy prime minister and national defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz took the floor. He stressed that 3 scenarios were taken into account. Namely, the intrusion of a Russian drone, a smuggler or a sabotage act.
– Drones are tiny objects due to the fact that we're most likely talking about the drone that crashed. It does not have any signs that would at erstwhile show military character," said the head of the MON. He besides noted that "it should not be excluded that we may be dealing with a smuggling drone".
“And something that besides happened in another countries, acts of sabotage, that is, acts of diversion, with sabotage in the territory of the Republic of Poland, should not be excluded,” he added.
