Last contract was signed for the demolition of the Enterprise carrier

On 15 July 2026, the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command concluded a binding agreement for the final dismantling of the remains of the first atomic strike aircraft carrier, ex-USS Enterprise (CVN 65).
