Piskorski: A couple of gold for the war

myslpolska.info 2 years ago

The Polish State transfers unknown but surely immense amounts to the abroad state. This money goes to war even more others, for it is not even in the interests of this neighbouring country but of distant powers of its authorities. Billions from the Polish budget (and so from our pockets) are spent on mass killing of cannon meat.

In itself, this is the highest of absurdity: the Declaratively most pro-Ukrainian political class in Europe is giving money to annihilate... Ukrainians. For all day of war is hundreds, and possibly thousands of men of childbearing age killed. And all art of war equipment is an extra hr of this cruel war. But not today. We have no influence on how our money has completely detached from the category of common sense and national interest, with hatred of 1 power and faithful service to another political class. Theoretically, we can have this influence by voting in the fall elections. But only theoretically – democratic mechanisms in Poland have been operating only formally for years.

However, it is inactive up to us to put or not put change in the can and send or donate electronically. Young Ukrainians have been standing under residential stores for a long time, whose destiny has spared, at least for now, the function of cannon meat. The broken half of them convince them to throw any gold into the Ukrainian army. So in practice, they work to send their peers to a very likely death, somewhere in a meat grinder under a Bachmut. It's hard to tell if they realize it. A young man from the western regions of Ukraine, whom I discussed about this, said something that there is simply a conflict for freedom and the annexation of his country to Europe. possibly he does not know that Ukraine has no chance for any “Europe” and this “fight” will completely destruct the achievements of the Old Continent.

The paradox and any mediocre consolation consist in the fact that the gold coins that Poles throw into specified cans do not necessarily scope any army. No, they will not find themselves in the pockets of young people who – whether sun or rain – ask us for donations on the street. To whom? We don't know exactly. possibly to an entrepreneurial couple: Sergei Prituła from Tarnopol and Sergei Stiernienka from Odessa? The first is simply a comedian, a celebrity, and a tv presenter. He may be planning to replace the comedian presently holding the office of president of Ukraine; elections will be held next year (if there are any elections). The second, accused of killing a militant, was erstwhile head of the Right Sector in the Odesian Oblast. This duo has already raised money for drones, armored vehicles, and even satellites. The gatherings were successful. Especially for them. 90% of their money went into their own pockets. possibly they can support the Prituła election campaign? Or will they let both buy luxury goods, dream come actual that they couldn't afford before? According to Ukrainian blogger Anatolia SharijaOnly these 2 have earned more than $30 million from the beginning of the war. Not bad, huh? But there are no shortages of entrepreneurial people in Ukraine. Let's not delude ourselves – Prituła and Stiernienko are not the only ones in this business. They have quite a few competition.

Or will the money of the stunned Poles throwing cans into Ukrainian cans go straight to the army there, the defence department? There's a probability. However, can we be certain that Ukrainian officials are disgusted by the pattern applied by their non-governmental competition? According to Ukrainian journalists, the local defence department buys eggs, potatoes and any another commission at prices respective times higher than the retail prices in the grocery store in Kiev. The difference most likely does not scope orphans and mediocre widows.

Why did I mention the paradox? Fortunately, any of the resources collected and sent to Ukraine are not spent on any war. That's good news. The bad news is that they go to people who may be doing all this business of living. Deer and moose are good animals. Indeed, it is not known why people are compared to them to add a couple of golds officially to the war, and with a large probability for the good of a fewer and so wealthy people in the neighbouring country. It's very hurtful for those deerous forest dwellers.
