The PiS has fresh vice presidents. Here are the names

On Saturday, June 28th, during the legislature of Law and Justice in Szdrój, key staff decisions in the organization fell. Without surprise Jarosław Kaczyński was re-elected president of PiS. However, the most attention was drawn to changes in the group of vice presidents – 4 fresh people joined the strict leadership of the party: Przemysław Czarnek, Tobias Bocheński, Anna Krupka and Zbigniew Ziobro.

Jarosław Kaczyński again president. “Poland must change”

During the beginning speech, Jarosław Kaczyński stressed that despite his age he inactive felt up to moving the party. – I'm old adequate to hide, but I believe I can. I can only handle you. We must make it due to the fact that Poland must change Kaczyński told the delegates.

New PiS Vice Presidents. Who are they and what are they declaring?

At the request of the organization president, the Political Council of the Law and Justice elected 4 fresh vice presidents. Below we present their silhouettes and first comments after taking up the function:

• Przemysław Czarnek – erstwhile Minister of Education and Science, known for his conservative views. – It's a large honor and a large commitment to me. – he wrote on social media.

• Tobias Bochenski – erstwhile Mazovian voivode, 1 of the younger politicians in the leadership of the party. – As vice president, I will do anything to avoid the mistakes of political youth, and as much as possible to the common good – declared.

• Anna Krupka associate and erstwhile Deputy Minister of Sport. In her entry, she talked about the "great responsibility" associated with the fresh function.

• Zbigniew Ziobro – erstwhile Minister of Justice and lawyer General, returns to the strict management of the Law and Justice after a severe illness. Its return may be crucial for the future right wing of the group.

Steady players remain. Who kept the function in the PiS?

In addition to the recently appointed, the positions of vice presidents were maintained by erstwhile leaders: Mateusz Morawiecki, Mariusz Błaszczak, Beata Szydło, Patryk Jaka, Joachim Brudziński, Elżbieta Witek and Antoni Macierewicz. Maintaining the existing composition means continuing the current political lineage, although with a clear widening of the influence of the national-conservative wing.

Secretary, Treasurer and fresh Executive Committee

The political council of PiS besides decided to entrust Piotr Miłowański with the post of secretary-general for another word of office. Henryk Kowalczyk was again the treasurer.

The Executive Committee's composition was supplemented by Jan Kanthak, Mateusz Kurzejewski, Jack Ozdob and Michał Wosi. Among the fresh members of the Political Committee were Andrzej Adamczyk, Zbigniew Bogucki, Jan Dziedziczak, Beata Kempa, Janusz Kowalski, Ewa Leniart and Andrzej Sliwka.

Kaczyński: “The visa scandal is 1 large lie”

Jarosław Kaczyński gave a speech before voting, in which he referred to the losing parliamentary elections of 2023. According to the leader of PiS, 1 of the main reasons for the failure was the alleged visa scandal, which he described as ‘dried from a finger’ and “one large lie”. He announced the fight to regain power and the request to mobilise organization structures at all levels.

What's next with the PiS? Young people enter the game

Embeding key positions by fresh politicians specified as Czarnek, Bocheński or Krupka may mean trying to rejuvenate and refresh the party's image. For Jarosław Kaczyński, it is besides a strategical movement: strengthening loyal structures and consolidating the camp around challenges related to future parliamentary and presidential elections.
