PiS and Confederacy with a majority in the Sejm. Newest poll alarm signal for the ruling

If the elections were held last Sunday, the Law and Justice together with the Confederacy could number on the majority in the Sejm - according to the latest United Surveys poll. Thus, the current rulers would face large problems, especially as 1 of the coalitions would be outside the parliament.

Law and Justice and Confederation could make a government, with a combined 236 mandates, with 224 for the CoalitionCitizens and Left. Third Road in the current agreement, the votes would not be obtained not a single mandate and this would importantly change the current arrangement of forces in the Polish parliament - the results of the United Surveys poll for the WP show.

The results of the survey showed the projected distribution of seats in the 460 Members of the Sejm:

  • Civil Coalition (KO) - 192 mandates
  • Law and Justice (PiS) - 167 mandates
  • Confederation - 69 mandates
  • Left - 32 mandates

The analysis of the results suggests that the biggest support among political parties is inactive enjoyed by the KO, which obtained 31.2 percent votes, which means an increase of 0.8 percent points compared to the erstwhile survey of 28–29 April.

Second place was the Law and Justice with the consequence 27.5% (an increase of 0.2 pp.) and the 3rd is the Confederate, which noted support by 1.3 pp. - 13.1 percent. The left obtained 0.8 pp., reaching 7.6 percent. The 3rd Way Can Only anticipate 7.4 percent..and would have been outside the Sejm.

The number of undecided voters increased by 1.4 percent points and is 8.8%.

In elections to the Sejm there are electoral thresholds. Only those committees which have received shall participate in the allocation of the mandates. 5 percent votes or - in the case of a coalition - 8 percent Voices. National number committees are not subject to these restrictions.

The United Surveys survey was conducted for Virtual Poland on 7 May 2025. The survey was carried out by CATI (phone interviews) and CAWI (online interviews) on a typical example of 1,000 people.
