Piotrków Trybunalski. The PiS doesn't run, but..

One of the reasons for specified a decision was the deficiency of the required number of signatures, but the problem was not the only one. At least 150 signatures were required in each of the 4 constituencies. However, the Committee on Law and Justice failed to collect the required number.

In each of the constituency, the number of verified signatures was lower than the minimum required for various reasons specified as the incorrect PESEL number, the deficiency of electoral rights, the illegible address of residence or errors on behalf or surname. Despite the appeal to the Election Commissioner in Piotrków Trybunalski, the arguments of the Law and Justice Office were rejected and the Commission's decision remained unchanged.

In an additional effort, the organization delivered more signatures on Monday, March 4, however, they were rejected as they were delivered a fewer minutes after the set deadline. The Commission explained that the individual who provided additional signatures was not authorised to do so and did so after the expiry of the deadline.

Despite these events, Łukasz Janik, who started out of his own committee, received support from the PiS. The Provincial Board of Law and Justice in Łódź gave its support to the presidential candidate Piotrków, Łukasz Mark Janik, in accordance with the decision signed by the president of the Łódź University of Law and Justice, Robert Telus. Telus stressed that the Commission had the right to both reject and pass through the lists of parties.
