Piotr Nowina-Konopka is dead

Piotr Nowina-Konopka, a democratic opposition activist in the Polish People's Republic, advisor to president Lech Wałęsa, long-time MP, erstwhile Polish ambassador to the Vatican, has died - Father Tomasz Dostatni reported on social media on Friday. The politician and economist was 76 years old.
