[Event held on 12 May at Mesko plant](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/polskie-pioruny-leca-do-belgia) resulted in the signing of 2 documents. The first was an officially known letter of intent concerning Polish-Belgian cooperation in the area of air defence, among others. We are talking here **especially about very short scope sets in the form of shoulder launchers with Lightning missiles**. In addition, cooperation is to focus, inter alia, on the improvement of the arms manufacture or the exchange of experience in training. This will be very valuable in the case of Polish pilots and maintenance **training with Belgian counterparts in the US on the F-35A (as mentioned by Deputy Prime Minister of Poland).**
