F-35 is the first multitasking aircraft in Polish aviation designed to be hard to detect by its opponent. The Polish Air Force is to receive 32 machines, which together with F-16 fighters will constitute the strength of Polish combat aviation. Currently, Polish pilots are training in the US. The first F-35 May to scope Poland in early 2026.
On 31 January 2020, the Polish Ministry of Defence signed a contract for the transportation of 32 F-35A aircraft in Dęblin, Lublin. The contract besides provided for a logistics and training package. The first provides spare and operational parts, ground handling equipment and pilot equipment, a computer operating management system. The second package includes comprehensive training of pilots and method personnel in the US.
