First Caesars for the Czech Republic shortly on tests

The Czech Republic in September 2021 signed an agreement with the French company Nexter Group (now KNDS France) worth EUR 333 million to acquisition 52 wheeled Caesar cannons in 8x8. The chassis for them is intended to be a Czech production truck Tatra T-815-7 with armored cab. The Czechs agreed that more than 40% of the production costs would be located in the native manufacture as a consequence of which only 2-4 Caesars would be completed in France. Interestingly, since the announcement of the desire to express the acquisition of CAESARs to sign the contract, its cost would increase by 40%, which caused considerable confusion of its time.
