Armatohaubica 2S43 Malwa was to gradually replace the outdated russian haubices (including drawn ones), importantly improving mobility and the firepower of Russian artillerymen. Her debut on the front took place in 2024, erstwhile she was spotted [in the area of the town of Belgorod](https://defence24.pl/war-on-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/Russians-send-new-artylerie-on-ukraine). Later on, most of the material depicting the "Russian Kryl" [originated from the Kursk region](https://defence24.pl/war-na-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/Russian-cril-war-in-kursk region) where they were carried fire on Ukrainian positions. Now on X, a photograph appears as if from this area, where the first Malwa eliminated is visible.
