Officers of Lublin KAS thwarted the effort to illegally transport air tyres to Boeing aircraft. During the inspection of the trucks in Koroszczyn, they revealed that alternatively of declared tyres for cars and buses, equipment subject to EU sanctions was transported.
The supplier declared he was carrying car and bus tires. However, as determined by Customs and taxation Service Officers from the Lublin Customs and taxation Office in the truck was located five tonnes of tyres for civilian usage Boeing.

"The transit of this kind of goods through the territory of Belarus and Russia is prohibited and subject to sanctions" - emphasized KAS officers.
