Peru's Landing Forces presently have 27 Chinese production of kind 90B multi-guided rocket launchers (PHL-81 variety) and about 22 russian BM-21 Grads. Both constructions usage 122 mm cal shells, which facilitates the process of supplying them with ammunition. Along with the first vehicles, 580 rockets with a scope of 40 km were purchased from Norinco, which made them the largest-range artillery in the state of the Peruvian army. In early December last year, the Peruvian paper *La República* reported that among planned purchases for the army for 2025, an additional 40 multi-guided rocket launchers and 4,200 rockets with a scope of 40 kilometres and 600 rockets with a scope of 50 kilometres.
