The Pentagon may be working on a fresh artificial intelligence strategy that will be able to navigate on its own IT infrastructure, detect and neutralize threats. The task called ECHOTRIBLE is intended to be part of a wider American strategy for utilizing AI on the battlefield. However, it is not known whether tools have already been developed to implement these assumptions, and the concept itself raises serious concerns from safety experts.
