What a slow MP...
The MP Matysiak expressed her discontent on the X platform due to the deficiency of free space to drive, even though parliamentarians have free tickets provided. She explained that she had to make an online booking due to the fact that she was distant from the parliamentary hotel.
How come there's no free space on the train for Friday? Is PKP Intercity not fulfilling its agreement with the Chancellery of the Sejm?
The speech was given a screenshot from the authoritative carrier website. It says,
We're sorry the seats in the chosen class have already been sold out. Change class or train.
Criticism of net users
It is hard to tell what reaction the MP was trying to trigger on the network, but it is certain that she did not anticipate the sharp wave of criticism that was directed towards her. 1 of the net users noted:
If you'll excuse me, the discount for Members and the booking of seats is moronic. If that's how you advance public transport, then drive on the same conditions as average citizens. For free and any place, it's all 1 of us who wants to ride.
Matysiak responded to this statement:
It's not a certain place. I drove around without a place or in the hallway many times. I have doubts about Intercity's performance of the contract he has signed with the Chancellery of the Sejm.
The MP then explained that seats occupied by parliamentarians should be reserved a fewer hours before departure. Only then do they go to general sales.
Just a ticket doesn't bite.
When Matysiak revealed more details about the journey, netizens rapidly discovered that it was the Wrocław-Lublin route. They reminded the MP that the alleged parliamentary tickets include only trains moving from and to Warsaw. They suggested that she could simply buy a lower class ticket, like another passengers, and criticized her speech of speech about the deficiency of parliamentary seats.
Marcel Spider of the fresh Hope organization stated that Matysiak had experienced the reality of average passengers and should not complain about the deficiency of peculiar treatment.
When asked for an apology, Marysiak stated that she would make an episode of the podcast about parliamentarians crossing.
