On 19 November, the European Commission presented proposals for legislative amendments to the most crucial government specified as GDPR, AI Act, Data Act, ePrivacy Directive. In the light of the European Commission's announcement on Digital Omnibus, a package to simplify and coordinate EU data and technology regulations, experts from administrations, academics and the private sector will meet to jointly reflect on the future of the European regulatory model.
The discussion will cover both the organization and legal direction of reforms and the applicable business challenges of implementing data-based innovation. Participants will consider whether the planned changes in law will aid the European Union to better combine the protection of fundamental rights with the improvement of technology and the competitiveness of the digital economy.
The seminar will take place on 9 December 2025 in hybrid form:
