Patriot battery withdrawn from Slovakia

The Ministry of Defence of Slovakia reported that 1 of the 3 Patriot strategy batteries stationed in that country within the NATO multinational combat group had been withdrawn. The decision is not intended to affect national security. Minister of Defence Jaroslav Nad said: "We have taken a number of safety measures to reduce the amount of equipment and allied soldiers."
