Work on amending this year's budget went faster than expected. Adopted by the Sejm, the bill passed rather smoothly through the Senate, and without any amendments. The paper from the cabinet of Marshal Tomasz Grodzki was so sent to the President, who signed it. Today, therefore, it is certain that officers – like all another "budgets" – can number on a one-off incentive allowance. However, that is not all, because, according to the announcements, the police budget will besides be increased by another PLN 300 million, which will be intended, among others, for "pay-for cash benefits" and current expenditure.
