Jasła police stopped a white BMW driver after the passenger was driving on the roof of the car. The Communication was published on 12 August 2026. The driver lost his driver's licence and will answer to the court, and the passenger got a ticket. The usual safety on Polish roads is at stake.

Extreme recklessness on the road

Jasielska traffic halt white BMW after a situation which should not take place on any public road. 1 of the passengers wasn't sitting in the car cabin. It was on the roof of a moving vehicle. The police reported the driver lost his driver's licence and his case goes to court.

The passenger was fined. That's all we know from the police message. There is no request to add awesome details. The fact alone is adequate to show the problem: on the road 1 stupid stunt can in a second turn into a tragedy for the driver, passenger and accidental people driving next to it.

Driving licence is simply a liability

A car is not a scene to fool around. The driver is liable not only for how he operates the steering wheel, but besides for the safety of passengers and the situation he creates in motion. If he allows a man to sit on the roof of a moving car, he accepts a hazard that cannot be justified by a joke.

That's why stopping your driver's licence makes sense. The state must respond rapidly where thoughtlessness threatens life. Freedom on the road does not mean freedom. It means respecting the rules by which a household returning from work, children taking a bus and walking on the crossing do not become hostages of individual else's bravado.

It's not just 1 prank.

Things like this are emotional due to the fact that they contact everyday security. Poles have the right to anticipate that roads will not be a place for shows recorded to the delight of friends. In fresh months, we have already described cases in which highly irresponsible driving ended high fine and decision to leave Poland. The common denominator is simple: behind the wheel fantasy without reason becomes a public threat.

It doesn't take a large run to name a thing by name. A consequence of police, efficient courts and the public's agreement that there is no concession tariff on roads for utmost bravado is needed. A passenger's ticket and a driver's court are the minimum consequence to callback the basic principle: a car is utilized to drive, not to hazard another people's health.

Rate for drivers and families

For average Poles, the stakes are very specific. It's a safe return from work, a quiet way to school, less accidents and less families broken up by someone's stupidity. If the State indulges in specified behaviour, those who follow the rules pay.

W The clear reaction was definite. The driver's case will now be handled by the court. And good, due to the fact that order on the roads starts with a simple message: freedom does not relieve responsibility, and the public road is not a private square to show off.
